Yellow Sleeve Mego Robin

There seems to be a mystery at hand with Mego Corporations release of a yellow sleeve (and shorts) Robin. Mego Museum reports “the argument is whether this is an error by Mego or a chemical process caused by the green dye used in early Robins.”  My belief is that Mego didn’t have a chemical process error, but actually a decision error that produced the Robin with yellow sleeves. The error was finally fixed by Mego but some did get out into the wild. Now, don’t get me wrong, there are some green Robin’s where the sleeves are turning yellow. But the dye is only in spots and not the entire sleeve or shorts. This is will be a mystery for a long time.
